Arts in Education
Arts in Education programs play a very large part in the mission of the Lake Erie Ballet. Every year the organization provides thousands of children and adults in the Erie area with the opportunity to experience and explore the realm of dance during Lecture Demonstrations and the Special Performance Series. The many residencies, lecture demonstrations and special performances of our outreach programs provide an avenue for many of Erie’s underserved community to be exposed to the art form of dance. For some, this experience can be life altering, often changing the entire attitude of a person’s interest in education and his or her ability to make positive, healthy life choices.
