Professional Company

The Lake Erie Ballet is the premiere ballet company in northwestern Pennsylvania. A young, yet highly skilled group, the Lake Erie Ballet is currently celebrating forty-nine years of bringing professional quality dance education and performances to Erie and surrounding communities. The Company is comprised of five professional dancers and six apprentices. The Lake Erie Ballet's eclectic repertoire includes favorites such as "The Nutcracker" and "Cinderella", as well as contemporary and jazz works from the modern era. The Company will perform six major productions this season in its hometown of Erie, Pennsylvania, as well as touring productions throughout the area. The Lake Erie Ballet Company is a young, highly skilled, and carefully selected ensemble dedicated to bringing the dynamic art of ballet to audiences throughout Northwestern Pennsylvania.

In addition to community performances and tours, the Company works with children of all ages in the Arts-in-Education Program by providing:
