Performance Opportunities

Students will have the opportunity to participate in a number of newly scheduled performances. Performing is an important and vital tool in every dancer’s education.

Throughout the school year, upper level students continue to learn and are given opportunities to present excerpts from the classical ballet repertoire choreographed by the great ballet masters during the Romantic Era and Golden Age of ballet. 

In the Fall, all students from age 3 and up are eligible to audition for the annual performance of The Nutcracker produced by the Lake Erie Ballet Company and performed at the historic Warner Theatre.

The Lake Erie Ballet has a dancer exchange program with Ballet Tucson in Arizona. Lake Erie Ballet dancers can audition and take part in Ballet Tucson's lavish spring production as well as their summer workshops. In exchange, dancers from Tucson can join in Lake Erie Ballet productions. This will provide students with invaluable experience, and tremendous exposure to what life as a dancer is like.
 
All children will also be involved in our end of the year school production of a classic full length ballet. In addition, upper level students have the opportunity to audition for the Lake Erie Ballet Company.
 
Each new year brings many new opportunites for performance and growth.
