Volunteer Opportunities – Art MOVES 2010
Parents of LEAD students can register with Parent Volunteer Coordinator, Tami Kimet (504-6924) receive up to $44 CREDIT with LEB. This credit can be applied to one hour of monthly tuition for the Fall semester of 2010-2011 at LEAD. Parents who do not volunteer will not receive this credit.

Seamstress Helper – Costumers Guild
- Costume fittings
- Pre show sewing
- Theater Week hand sewing during shows (repairs)
- Costume collection (and cleaning)
Transport / Stage Hands
- Transport of the floor to and from the theatre
- Striking and rolling floor
- Transport of costumes and sets
Admissions and Ushers
- Taking tickets
- Handing out programs
- Ushering patrons to seats before and during shows
Stage Hands
- Keeping deck clear of students
- Conducting traffic to and from stage
Back stage Room Parents / Security
- Make sure dancers remain in room
- Keep dancers quiet and occupied
- Get dancers in costumes and ready
- Running dancers to and from “holding spot” and back
- Chaperoning dancers, once in house after intermission
Monitors / Security
- Keep hallways clear and quiet
- Calling / Ushering dancers to holding spot - “on hold”
- Calling / Ushering dancers to and from stage - “on deck”
- Monitor traffic in and out of the building
Clean Up Crew
- Make sure all dressing rooms are clean, costumes are back to wardrobe for transport
- Packing up of props and supplies
- Strike and load out
