Audition and Registration :

Performance Dates for this year's event are Dec. 18-20 at the Warner Theater.

The Lake Erie Ballet will be casting for all roles at this time.  For a complete cast listing, click here. These auditions are free and open to the public.

Production & Costuming Fees / Volunteer Information:

Every participant involved in the Nutcracker, excluding LEB Company members, apprentices and Mercyhurst College dancers, must pay a non-refundable Production Fee.  The fees are defined as follows:

Any parent who registers with Parent Volunteer Coordinator, Tami Kimet prior to Oct. 31 and completes their volunteer service hours before, during or after the performances will receive a $20 CREDIT.  This credit can be applied to a LEB nutcracker 2009 DVD or tuition.  Parents who do not volunteer will not receive this credit.

Casting:

A Cast Listing for Snow, Flowers, Chinese, Arabian, Flutes, Spanish and Party Scene Dolls will be posted Monday, September 14th, 2009.   A Cast Listing for all other roles will be posted Monday, September 21st, 2009.

There are many cast members and few choice roles.  Please do not audition if you are not prepared to accept the role that you have been cast for.  All roles cast are final.  All casting will be posted on the Lake Erie Ballet website, at the Mercyhurst College DanceSpace and Lake Erie Ballet Studios.

The rehearsal schedule for September through December is posted here. Rehearsal updates and changes will be posted at the Lake Erie Ballet, Mercyhurst College, and on the website.  All major changes in rehearsal scheduling will also be emailed.   PLEASE LEAVE AN E-MAIL ADDRESS AT REGISTRATION IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO RECEIVE UPDATED SCHEDULES.

In the case of an emergency, you must contact and make arrangements in advance with the directors. Habitual absences and tardiness will result in dismissal from the production.
