VOLUNTEER:
Parents who register to volunteer with the Parent Volunteer Coordinator prior to Oct. 31 and completes their volunteer service hours before, during or after the performances will receive up to $20 CREDIT with LEB. This credit can be applied toward tuition with the Lake Erie Academy of Dance. Families of children 5 years and younger must volunteer in order to participate. Parents who do not volunteer will not receive this credit.
Seamstress Helper – Costumers Guild
- Costume fittings
- Pre show sewing
- Warner week hand sewing during shows (repairs)
- Costume collection
Admissions and Ushers
- Taking tickets
- Handing out programs
- Ushering patrons to seats before and during shows
Candy Grams
Stage Hands
- Dressing the set on Thurs. 12/16, 3:00-5:00
- Taking down of tree after Sun. matinee
Back stage Room Parents / Security
- Make sure dancers remain in room
- Keep dancers quiet and occupied
- Get dancers in costumes and ready
- Running dancers to and from “holding spot” and back
- Chaperoning 1st act dancers, once in house after intermission
Merchandise Table
- Set up
- Sales: before, during intermission, and after show
- Restock
- Cashier – collection of receipts
- Collection, inventory and packing of stock and pack after Sunday matinee
Monitors / Security
- Keep hallways clear and quiet
- Calling / Ushering dancers to holding spot - “on hold”
- Calling / Ushering dancers to and from stage - “on deck”
- Monitor traffic in and out of the building
Clean Up Crew
- Make sure all dressing rooms are clean, costumes are back to wardrobe for transport
- Packing up of props and supplies
- Carrying boxes upstairs to stage for load in – after Sun. Matinee
Sugar Plum Fairy Party, Sunday Dec. 19, 2010 12:00-1:30 pm
- Decorating room – set up
- Ticket table – selling and taking of tickets, collection of monies for deposit
- Food preparation and serving
- Game and picture taking
- Clean up and packing boxes for load in – after Sun. Matinee
